The School's Sporting Aims, and Provision for Sport

Rugby international Derwyn Evans presenting Emma with her prize at the school sports day

The school wants its pupils to be involved with and gain both pleasure and success through a range of sporting activities. We have run a very successful swimming team for many years, but provision for training and participation in a range of other sports is provided within the school.

Dragon Sport

The Sports Council for Wales supports the Dragon Sport initiative. This aims to give youngsters the chance to get involved with sporting activities and allow them to develop their skills and support those wishing to pursue their sport at a higher level. There is an emphasis on fun and enjoyment as well as introducing children to the importance of fitness and physical activity for a healthy life.
